Our treatments
General dentistry
General dentistry is the foundation of lasting oral health. Regular check-ups make it possible to spot problems early, to stop a simple issue from turning into major treatment, and to keep your teeth healthy for as long as possible.
What this treatment includes
- A full consultation and oral health assessment;
- Scaling, to remove plaque and tartar that brushing cannot reach;
- Restorative treatment of cavities, before they progress;
- Check-up X-rays, taken on site using the practice’s orthopantomogram;
- Personalised hygiene advice, tailored to your teeth.
Why have regular check-ups?
Most major treatment — root canals, extractions, surgery — begins with a problem that could have been dealt with simply had it been caught earlier. A regular check-up allows an early cavity, the first signs of gum inflammation or abnormal wear to be identified before they worsen.
A check-up every six months prevents the great majority of major treatment.
What happens during an appointment
Every appointment begins with a full clinical examination, supported where necessary by X-rays. Dr Faissel Bennouna then explains the treatment plan clearly — what needs doing, why, and in what order — before anything is carried out.
